We are out of outbreak tomorrow (April 7).
You will need to continue to wear 1 medical mask and eye protection (safety glasses / goggles or face shield).
You will still need to do a rapid-antigen test prior to every shift.
We will have a pizza party Friday April 8 for staff - more info to follow!

The Chief Public Health Office announced last week that staff who work in long-term care and have not received a Covid-19 vaccine must be tested weekly. If you have not received a Covid-19 vaccine, this weekly testing applies to you. 1. Quarters and loonies - some staff said they are having trouble getting change for their laundry machines at their apartments. If you need to make change, please check wit hthe front office and we can change bills into quarters / loonies.

What does that me for me? (the staff member)
- Wash your hands with soap and water or alcohol-based hand sanitizer - just as you normally would
- Report a resident with symptoms to your supervisor
- Residents should be put on isolation and contact + droplet precautions if symptomatic (check with your supervisor on this)
- Do not come to work if you are symptomatic (new onset cough, fever, difficulty breathing)
- Read all memos on the memo board to stay up to date
- Relay information to family that has been approved and is on your memo board - messaging needs to be consistent and clear, not confusing.
