Our philosophy of care, the foundation on which our community at The Mount is built, is based on compassion, respect, and hospitality. A primary support in this foundation is the group of individuals who volunteer their time to share their skills, experiences, and passions with our community members.
If you are motivated, enjoy sharing the company of others, and have the ability to relate easily with a diverse and wonderful set of individuals, then consider joining our family here at The Mount and sharing your experiences with us. The personal rewards that you receive in return for your gift of time will be plentiful and seemingly priceless.
High school students: our organization is registered under the PEI Community Service Bursary Program. The bursary program offers $5 for each hour volunteered between the start of grade 10 and end of grade 12, and can be accumulated up to $750. Find more information HERE.
Student volunteers may be eligible for the Canada Student Service Grant - find more information HERE.
All volunteers must follow the new Covid-19 guidelines.
