Volunteer Appreciation Dinner - Thursday, October 24, 2019
Each year The Mount thanks all the people who take the time to volunteer. We have over 100 volunteers and a thank-you dinner is a small token of appreciation for all the hard work they do!
Our activities and residents' lives are enriched by the work these folks do.
The dinner is held at the Red Shores Racetrack at 6 pm. If you are a volunteer and haven't been contacted yet please contact Charmaine at 902-370-5702 or activities@themountcommunity.ca.
Flu Shots - starting in October 2019
The influenza vaccine is administered annually to residents and staff, starting in October when we receive the vaccine. We encourage you to get the flu shot as well in order to protect those around you. Our residents are more vulnerable than the general population when it comes to the flu and have more complications - including death - if they become ill.
As a reminder:
Wash your hands with alcohol based hand sanitizer when entering and leaving The Mount.
